It’s funny that I forgot how fun so many of the things that I did as a kid were until I had kids myself and starting doing them again. You couldn’t really say that it’s like a second childhood though because there’s so much more responsibility that way. One of those little activities that I’ve realized I love doing again is drawing with sidewalk chalk. It’s just so simple and fun!

You might even say that I’m a little obsessed with it because we’ve been drawing so much with it lately during the nice weather. I was uploading some cool pictures of things we’ve drawn with chalk to Facebook, when I came across the site SatelliteInternetBroadband.com. I looked through it some and after that I decided to sign up for a new internet service for our home.

Last weekend I decided that we should draw a family portrait. We got really creative with it and incorporated some of our favorite things, including our two cats. I even got our neighbor to take our picture with it, which I think made for a really cute and special picture.

In the world of blogging you need your own brand to give you and edge over the other million of other bloggers coming online every month. This means getting your own domain name and reliable web hosting whether it be shared or dedicated. As the world of blogging has evolved over the past five years from personal diaries to market moving machines more and more people are finding new and creative ways to get their blog online. There was a report that showed blogs are becoming a major source of news for many on the internet and conventional journalism is now moving into the online world where they are keeping their own blogs. People want the latest information and bloggers are everywhere and have wi-fi access that allows them to upload videos and pictures within minutes of them finding out about a story.

We just had the unfortunate luck of having to reconfigure our servers that host some of our blogs and websites. We were asked to download some SQL files to our hard drive and the reload them back to the main server. Luckily for us they were able to remotely dial into our PC’s and help us with the configuration without having to send in a tech guy which might have taken hours or even days. The host company  had been using a series of web site monitoring tools in order to help locate the issue and get us back up and running in a short time. For those that have their own hardware keeping it safe and secure is a top priority. At Orlando Colocation services at Atlantic.net you can choose from one of several setups that will help ensure the uptime and safety of your servers.
