The  Energy saving wave is now hitting middle America.

This story helped to inspire thousands of people to realize that they can do their part to help the environment and it does not have to take a natural disaster to do some simple things to help improve your home energy costs. We have been slowly changing out our incandescent light bulbs with more energy saving LED bulbs in order to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce our overall energy costs. We just recently signed for the Microsoft Hohm site that helps home owners to understand their overall energy consumption and helps to make recommendations on how to save energy and suggest modification tips in order to help you get there.

The site is free to join and they help provide a detailed look at your overall home and energy costs from your water heater to your home appliances and what to look for in future purchases.
