Every couple of years it seems that the younger generation has a new fad they like to show off. When I was in school, I can remember when friendship bracelets and friendship pins were the big thing. We never thought if it was a good idea or not. We just knew everyone else had them, so we must get them too. I can also remember us rolling up our jeans and giving them that tight roll at the bottom. It didn’t matter if you were a guy or a gal, everyone was on board with rolling up their jeans or wearing one of those friendship bracelets.

I have noticed that this bracelet pictured seems to be popular among the younger crowds and you can even see some of the American Idol contestants wearing bracelets and sometimes several to show their style.

The great thing about a leather bracelet is that they seem to have a lasing appeal and can be worn anytime of the day. I am not talking about the wide band bracelet you saw back in the 1960′s that seem to characterize bikers or gangs, but simple bracelets that can make a statement.
