If you are like me you are constantly looking for ways to improve your sites ranking in Google and other major search engines. We have started to focus more on content distribution and the Authorship which is starting to make more of an impact. I was reading some articles on ways in which Google is viewing content on a site to determine it’s relevance and now that is extending to the author. The thought is that if a person clicks on your site and article and stays around reading it for more than two minutes (this is what has been proposed by some of the SEO gurus) that your site and content are deemed more relevant. Now add into this the author of the piece and you can start gaining more credibility. I won’t go into all the details of branding your authorship and the intricacies of setting up your profile (which is through Google +) by the way. What I wanted to do is provide some context and resources for us bloggers that are doing this on our own and have not yet spent thousands on a SEO firm.
As I was doing some research I found a resource that allows you to become a SEO reseller in order to offer services to clients while also giving you a better insight into your own websites. If you look across the web there are hundreds if not thousands of companies and individuals offering their services to help your site or blog get better rankings. With a company called HubShout you can Resell SEO services that they offer and have them white labeled to match your company branding so that the customers are only aware of your services. They have built the infrastructure to provide clients resources and counseling on PPC, SEO, email marketing and more and you have the ability to use them and resell their services. I think this is a great idea and those that are looking to break into the market and help others break through the SERP rankings this could be a great first step.
