Using casters to move your heavy stuff | Access 2 Knowledge

One of the top rated cable shows on television right now is Storage Wars. This entertaining show comes on every week over on the A & E channel. Since I started watching this show, it has made me want to start buying these storage units, like the cast of this popular TV show. It’s really pretty simple on how it works. Someone who rented out a storage locker, so they could store their stuff in it at one time. Now months or years later, the owner of the storage locker has not paid, forgotten, got ill, or various other reasons, so they lose all their items inside. The owners will take these unpaid units and auction them off to the public. The person with the most cash is the one who wins the storage locker. Sounds easy enough, right?

People on the show are commonly spending 500 to 2 thousand dollars and getting some items inside the locker that are more valuable. The folks bidding on the locker can’t go inside these units. They must stand outside and only have a short peek inside and have to try and determine what the storage locker is worth. I know for me to start this business, I would obviously need a lot of cash to begin with. I know these guys buy a lot of junk, so making trips to the dump would be another expense one would have to pay in this line of business. I would like to take me a small metal table with those rolling wheels on them or plate casters on the bottom of a sturdy table. In case I did win a bid or two, I would like to have something to put my storage items on and be able to roll them away easily. If you watch this show you know that some of the stuff they pull out of these lockers is very interesting. Some of the gear that they use is industrial grade and is used in many commercial applications that many of us may not have in our own garage.
