In the world of online investment there is a new site called Zopa or Zone of possible Agreement that is a peer to peer investment/loan site. You are in a network where you lend and borrow to other members. They are currently only operating in the UK, and have plans to open and accept investments within the US.
So you are probably asking how does it work and is it safe and legal? You can see there FAQ here ” How it works”. As for the legal issues, each country has it’s set of investment rules, and even in the states there are state rules. In approx. 35 of the 50 states you have to be registered with that state to process monies within and across state lines. The concept seems to be very straight forward, and does take out the middleman to help increase your APR that you would earn. Take a look and read their financial disclaimers, before investing any money.
