Universal music has filed a lawsuit against the giant Social Network giant MySpace claiming copyright violations. At issue is the widespread use of copyrighted Music and video content on MySpace. The very premise of MySpace was for people (mainly younger kids and adults) to create their own personal webspace in which they could share and communicate with their peers. Most are problably not aware that if they take a song and put it on their MySPace, or capture the latest music video and upload to their site they may be infringing on copyright laws. This may present a problem for the millions that use MySpace and othe rsuch sites. The draw has been that young kids and adults can go in and create a space without rules. If they feel they are being censored, they may move on to  other avenues.
